Judy-OK Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I picked my cookbooks up from the post office this morning and they are wonderful. I have been playing Santa Claus ever since. You did a beautiful job. Thanks. Quote
gail p-m Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Love the cookbook too!!! Can't wait to try some of the recipes. They're so tempting! Thanks for all of your hard work. gail p-m Quote
Andrea Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Thanks Does anyone have a favorite recipe? If it were not for feedback last year on Vol 1, I would not have found my new FAVORITE thing to make for parties: Geri's Crab Dip. I ahve to make it just for gatherings or I'd eat it all in one sitting Quote
ztweb Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 So, on the most orders contest, what is the highest order? I know I am not close, but I also might want to kick it in the tail! Jen Quote
ztweb Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Oh man...that is a tough one to beat!!! Quote
Judy-OK Posted December 20, 2006 Author Posted December 20, 2006 Now here is the ten million dollar question. How does one that was not around to request the Volume 1 get the receipe for the "Crab Dip" that everyone keeps raving about??? Inquiring minds like mine want to know!!! Quote
Kasey Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I'll send it to you, Judy. Or maybe GERI herself will!!! But for sure....someone will make sure you get that recipe! Kasey Quote
Ann Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I just have to chime in here and say that these cookbooks are fantastic! I am a cookbook nut and have so many cookbooks that it's almost an obcession! And...I have to say that our cookbooks are the ones I use most. If you haven't ordered one, don't miss out!!! Quote
Judy-OK Posted December 20, 2006 Author Posted December 20, 2006 The folks on here are absolutely wonderful. I have received the receipe and heard the actual fluttering of the wings on Kasey. I plan on using the crab dip receipe very very soon. Quote
Ann Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Yep...Kasey's wings can be heard fluttering around quite often!!! Quote
Nick C Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 HOLY COW!!! These cookbooks are amazing!!! I just got my order of 3 and will have to count up how many people would use and buy for them too. An amazing gift! Are there any Volume I's left? I'm a completist... Quote
Andrea Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Unfortunately Volume 1 is gone. I could order mroe, but it would ahve to be in the quantity of 100. Quote
terriep Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Got mine, too. LOVE THEM!! Can't wait to give them to my co-workers for Christmas!! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard on these! Quote
ernrol Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Judy-OK, You can get someone that has Volume I to post the recipe on our RECIPES FOR HEALTHY LIVING Forum, then you can copy it and all the rest of us newcomers could share it. We ask that no recipes from Volume II be posted. Post comments on recipes from volume II and just give the page number. RECIPES FOR HEALTHY LIVING Stay positive, Ernie Quote
Andrea Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Just a reminder, I am leaving for Hawaii Dec 31 and I will not return unil Jan 10, so I can't end orders out during that time Quote
Ry Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 CRAB AND CHEESE DIP -- Geri Norris 1 c. fresh, frozen or canned crab meat. drained 1 c. mayonnaise 1 c. shredded cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Muenster cheese (or combination) 1 c. of chopped onions (I use green onions but not quite a cup when I make this-Rochelle) Preheat oven to 350, mix all ingredients and pour into a 1 qt. casserole. Bake uncovered 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Stir once while baking. Serve with crackers. May be mixed ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake. Makes 8-10 servings. Quote
Ry Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Maybe if everyone that wants volume one could post or PM Andrea with a number we could see if it hits 100. It's a great book. Quote
Maryanne Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 The 10 I ordered are completely gone. One person who has mulitple recipes Rhonda Lomberg look her up took 7 and sold them out. She is a teacher she wants more and will have to take orders I on the other hand gave her like 1 too many and I had to give my 3 to some special people. So I don't have any right now I havn't even got to look at the contents. Will have to order after Xmas.... Great job Andrea, you should be proud. You contribute so much of your time here. I am sure we have no clue how much time you put into this, and the whole amount goes toward LC research. You are a very very special lady. Thank you sooooo much. I hope you had a nice Hanukah. Aren't you suppose to go to Hawaii?? Love ya, Maryanne Quote
