Guest Posted January 23, 2004 Share Posted January 23, 2004 My mother passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning. She waited until I arrived to hold her hand before she passed. I'm so thankful that she waited for me. It made me feel that it was going to be alright. The last time I spoke with her was on the night we took her to the hospice unit. I am very confident that we did the right thing, I just hope she agrees. She will be missed dearly. I want to thank everyone for their support and prayers. I had just gotten there (ran home to take a shower and came back to the hospital) and 2 minutes after I was there holding her hand she took her last breaths. I feel so blessed to have been there.
