Charlie got an appointment with one of the top lung cancer specialists, Dr. Alan Sandler, at Vanderbilt University Cancer Center. We go to Nashville next Wed. with out-of-network insurance approval!!! Also, I had his latest CT scan re-read because it was very worrisome--his old tumors had shrunk some more, but they talked about some new ones--One of which was 8 cm. They are amending the report. The large mass they talked about they believe is scar tissue from the radiation he had. They believe he is STABLE, which is good! Take care. Thanks for all the prayers.
