Fay, Thanks!! Hope you get to feeling better. Is your chemo Taxotere now? I hear that it is worse than Taxol, hope I am wrong. My onc. wants to start me on it, even though there is NED. I don't get it. Does it make sense to you? If there is NED, why do I have to continue chemo, onc says stats show it promotes survival. I hate this terminology, it scares me (stats and survival). Thank for the info. on the psorasis. I have had it since I was 24 yrs old... I wander if there is an association. Let us know if you find any other info... Information is greatly appreciated. DavidA, Sorry to hear the news, prayers for you that the biopsy comes back clean. I didn't know that they check the lympth nodes when they do a bronc and also the bronc tubes. Are the broncs closed? Did you have radiation? I know radiation can decrease the size of the bronc tubes. That is what my Pulmonist and onc told me. They can put a stent in there to open them and strech them so that your breathing is easier. They are considering doing that for me, I am not sure of all the details yet. Please keep us posted on the results of your tests, we truly care... Karen

Shirley, It is amazing that you should ask about Psoriasis. I too have Psoriasis and since diagnosis of LC, I was wondering if the two were associated. It is an excessive growth and duplication of the cells on the skin. Just like in cancer. There is no cure for Psoriasis either. I did not realize that there are 5 different kinds of Psoriasis. What are they? I know I tried every medicine available and went to so many dermatologists. I was dignosed in March 03 with the LC. I recall that I had not had an outbreak of Psoriasis for almost a year now and to date I still have not had an outbreak. I wonder if the two are associated, Hmmmm Who could we ask that might have some information? Psoriasis and LC don't run in my family though, or at least as far as I know.... Very interesting I did mention it once to the physician assistant at my onc office, but didn't get an answer, probably because they don't know. Lynne, Saying prayers for you and daughter and Dean... Maybe he has pneumonia, I ran a 102 fever in September. Had chills, sweating and etc... They will give him antibiotics and be home reall soon. Barbara, That is wonderful news, stabilization. Please try and quit smoking. I smoked for 38 years, when doc said does LC run in your family. He scared the daylights out of me. Walked in 1-10-03 smoking and have not touched one since, can't even stand the smell. I don't mean to lecture, just a caring board buddy. Good Luck and praying for you and Mary Ann to quit. Hi Debbie, Sorry to hear that your mom is not doing well. Does she have Nueropothy in her hand and arm (numbing.) I have that in my feet and hands, it is from the chemo. DavidA, I too just went through a Bronc., two weeks ago. Pulm doc couldn't find tumor and biopsy came back Negative. Yours will too. God performs miracles, He did for me and now it is your turn. Just believe and keep the faith. Praying for you and clean tests... Blessings Karen

Ginny, Sorry I haven't posted anything about Gina, I didn't have any info... Just received a little bit of info., not sure if her house okay. Gina was in Oregon when the fire started and has not been able to go up and check on her house. Her doctor won't let her go up there, too dangerous to breathe the burned particles up there, which is understandable. She really works for a great company. The company that she works for which is here in Corona, has sent her to work in Scottsdale, AZ until the air clears up here. Not sure when she will be returning. I will keep all of you posted as I find out new information. Praying that her house was spared. It will be awhile before she can go up and check on it. Thanks Karen

Norme, That is wonderful news about this doctor getting Buddy in right away. It is a God send, he does listen to our prayers and answers them. Keep the faith, we are praying very hard for both of you. Buddy's tests are going to come back clean. I have faith that if we put our problems in his hands he will take care of us...
