Hi. Just wanted you to know that I read your post about the walk in Illinois for lung cancer. I am a survivor and I live in Downers Grove, IL. I would like information on the next walk. Hey Becky, one year is darn good. I love steak, but it's got to be medium rare. When I heard that red meat was bad for you I almost cried, but then I said the hell with it. I can't smoke, drink or take drugs; I'll be damned if I'll give up the red meat. I just try not to eat as much of it. I love beef. Celebrate. Enjoy life today. Love Nancy O.

Okay this is the word. I weighed in at 131 pounds when I went to the doctor. My last weigh in at the office was 129, I gained another 2 pounds. I talked to the oncologist about going on a diet. Said that I was carrying more weight than I'm used to. Well folks she said no diet that the weight was a good thing. I'm still going to try to lose a little, but no luck so far. Do I actually have to work at it? Duh, maybe thats why I gained more weight.

Hey Mo. I'm addicted too, but not in a hurry to join a twelve step group. For a change in addicted to something helpful and what I consider healthy. Imagine that!!!!! Love to you all my fellow addicties. Nancy O.

Hey Ray, sounds like great news about the scan. Now that they found the clots they can treat them. Take it one day at a time and enjoy each day. Celebrate the clean scan, it is truly good news.

Great news. My oncologist told me that there are more and more survivors every day. It's good to know that it's true.
