    A Year

Dean, I know how many moments of that past year you have spent sharing your time with others so that we have not had to walk alone either. Keep on keeping on Dean and I hope your teams don't disappoint you too much this year.
  6. I do not know of any reason that Bo would not feel welcome to post here. Everyone should come to offer and receive support if they so choose.

  10. Hi.... I have been on Iressa for almost two years now. I have rash ...(itchy red blotchy)... plus some GI issues and occasional fatigue. I have been pretty stable although appear to have some recent slight growth of a few nodules which is not significant enough to take me off of the Iressa.
  11. I am hoping that she is another wonderful success story with Iressa! Lisa

Now that I'm 'older' (but refuse to grow up), here's what I've discovered: 1 I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it. 2 My wild oats have turned into prunes and All Bran. 3 I finally got my head together; now my body is falling apart. 4 Funny, I don't remember being absent minded... 5 Funny, I don't remember being absent minded... 6 All reports are in; life is now officially unfair. 7 If all is not lost, where is it? 8 It is easier to get older than it is to get wiser. 9 Funny, I don't remember being absent minded... 10. Some days you're the dog; some days you're the hydrant. 11. I wish the buck stopped here; I sure could use a few... 12. Kids in the back seat cause accidents. 13. Accidents in the back seat cause kids. 14. Funny, I don't remember being absent minded... 15 It's hard to make a come back when you haven't been anywhere. 16. The only time the world beats a path to your door is when you're in the bathroom. 17. If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would have put them on my knees. 18. When I'm finally holding all the cards, why does everyone decide to play chess? 19. Funny, I don't remember being absent minded... 20. It's not hard to meet expenses... they're everywhere. 21. The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth. 22. These days, I spend a lot of time thinking about the hereafter... I go somewhere to get something and then wonder what I'm here after.
  13. Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these pink dangly things here, and drink whatever comes out?" Who was the first person to say, "See that chicken there... I'm gonna eat the next thing that comes outta it's *ss." Why do toasters always have a setting so high that could burn the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat? Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer? Why do people point to their wrist when asking for the time, but don't point to their *ss when they ask where the bathroom is? Why does your Gynecologist leave the room when you get undressed if they are going to look up there anyway? Why does Goofy stand erect while Pluto remains on all fours? They're both dogs! If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests? If corn oil is made from corn, and vegetable oil is made from vegetables, then what is baby oil made from? If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons? Is Disney World the only people trap operated by a mouse? Why do the Alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star have the same tune? Stop singing and read on . . . . . Do illiterate people get the full effect of Alphabet Soup? Why do they call it an asteroid when it's outside the hemisphere, but call it a hemorrhoid when it's on the outside of your *ss? Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog's face, he gets mad at you, but when you take him on a car ride, he sticks his head out the window?
  14. I am keeping you in my prayers Cat. Thanks for the update.
  15. I am so very sad to hear this news.

  17. Hi! First, I really appreciate your willingness to post here and share your wisdom and stories. I am certain that all of your patient's benefit by your compassion. Having said that I would be mortified if a doctor told my family anything about my prognosis that I didn't know. I feel that I am a competent individual and would like to remain in control of my medical care. For some reason this disease makes people feel like they can take over. I do not mean this as a criticism of you as a doctor but -- as a patient I would still like to direct the flow of information.
  18. I was wondering how your appointment went today.
