Dear Jack and Cheryl, What was he thinking, I'm sorry but I have to give my opinion on this one, I am not sure if that incident would be Kathy Latours fault it seems to me this Doctor needs some lessons in humanity..Who would allow their dog to be put through that. I personally dont have any pets, but I know people who would be appalled. I really dont get the comparison, wasnt the seminar on latest developments and finding cures. I dont know anything about this doctor so I cant judge his work and I am not here to judge however I can state my opinion that was done in very bad taste and I am sorry that you two had to be witness to that incident..

Dear Ms. LaTour, I would like to welcome you as well to a place that is filled with one of the most diverse group of people that were brought together by a common bond.. We are all very different because LC doesnt care who it strikes, contrary to what many believe. All anyone wants here is for LC to be recognized for what it is, so that it gets the funds and awareness that could help save lives.. Although its to late for my precious dad, who fought until his last breath, it may not be for the many here who are fighting with all the strength they have.. With all due respect and not sounding too idealistic, one person can make a difference or at the very least send us down the right path..

Shelly You are in my thoughts and prayers..I know you could use some strength to get through this setback...I think enough is enough for you and your family..

Boy do I know that feeling.. I miss mostly my dads smile everytime he seen me.. I miss his completlely unconditional love..I miss his beautiful hazel eyes that even though he didnt say it much, were filled with love..I know exactly what you mean..((((((HUGS))))))) for you....

Yes, pneumonia sounds familar and the stigma put on LC..It amazes me that doctors still think it is rare to have LC and never have smoked, anyway thats a whole different story..I wanted to welcome you and find out where in Mi you are..It seems like we are getting many more members from Mi.... I wanted to welcome you as well, and dont worry about answering to everyones response, everyone here understands your situation, some more than others. I am sorry that you have to be here, but glad you have found some sort of support system, your journey will be a little easier having the people here to guide you along the way....
