Dear Berisa, I have had two.. In my dream I had fallen asleep on my couch. My dad woke me up and helped me to my bed, he put his arms around me and said he was ok and he wanted to help me now...My sister had a dream right around the same time that he put his arms around her and said everthing was going to be ok...This all happened right before my brothers wedding.. In the other dream he was in an outside theater singing an old Italian song, and he was healthy.. Still waiting for more...

Hi John, I would tell them about this website, let them know they can be lurkers before and if they decide to join..It's a wonderful place full of much knowledge and experience.. There is always someone who has been through the same or similar situation.. They need to have hope, and there is hope for LC..Dont listen to any of the statistics because no one is a statistic...There are members on this board who are surviving LC every day.. I think they will appreciate the research you are doing for them, because that can be so overwhelming searching and searching for stories of hope, just send them here, you have come to right place... Wait and see all the inspiring people you will meet..

Dear Shirley, I will definately say a prayer or two for you.. You are doing a wonderful thing and Sam will be there with you every step of the way.. I know God will give you the emotional strength to do this, just ask...Cant wait to see the pictures..

It sounds so promising, I dont understand why they cant hurry things up..If I am not mistaken I think Iressa received an accelerated FDA approval, I am not sure if that is the right technical term or not..

I am an ex-smoker, its been 6 years for me and I am the worst ex smoker there is. I HATE smoke..My worst fear is that I harmed my non smoking children with all that second hand smoke that would lay stagnant in my home... When I was pregnant with my daughter(26 years ago Sat.) I asked my ob if I was harming my unborn child by smoking, he told me just to cut down, I know that is hard to believe but I swear thats what he told me.. I apologize to my children all the time for subjecting them to second hand smoke, but we just didnt know back then. I pray that God protected them for me..One thing I did do about 12 years ago was not allow smoking in my house, even though I was a smoker I went outside as well.. So I try to aviod smoke filled establishments too..I am sorry to say but I cant stand to even look at someone as they inhale that poison into their body and blow it out for me to have to breath it back into mine... I worked way to hard getting those cancer sticks out of my life..

Ry, So glad to hear your getting better, just make sure you take it easy. Wish you didnt have to attend those conferences..
