Oh Mark, I do hope things work out for Leslie's Garden. I have to believe there is a solution to this. Just the thought of this situation angers me. It's so sad to think that people could react this way. Take care and let us know how things turn out. We miss Leslie too. Your Virginia friend, Sue

Linda, I feel sure it is true. My husband, Mike, couldn't speak to us during the last hour before he died , but he mouthed "I love you" about 10 minutes before. There were 5 of us that were there and we all saw it. Hold on to that memory and cherish it. Love, Sue -

Malou, So glad you are taking care of yourself. I let a lot of my own physical symptoms go while Mike was ill and now I am going through a battery of doctor appointments and trying to undo the damage. I let Lymphedema in my legs get to the point of infection and danger... I'm under the care of a wound specialist now and that is just the beginning. Lori, All of this sounds like great news. Hope they can get the UTI cleared up and get mom back on her steroids soon. You and your family have been through such an emotional roller coaster. Praying for continued improvement in your mom and hope her confusion improves soon. I know from experience, with Mike, that steroids or withdrawal from them can cause lots of mental issues. Linda, I know this is so hard for you, but I know the morpheine will relieve his suffering. Whether the amount sounds correct or not, I don't know. My husband was only on it a couple days in a hospial environment, but we were very thankful for something to relieve his discomfort. God Bless you Linda. I will keep you and Mike in my prayers.
