Shanna, My heart goes out to you and your family. I do hope that if your mom has elected to not be treated that she is at least receiving palliative care to see that she is comfortable. Has anyone suggested you contact hospice? I never had any personal experience with them , but it is my understanding that they are a tremendous help and comfort to the family , as well as the patient. I'm sure others could give you first hand information on that if that is what you choose to do. In the meantime, my prayers are with you and your family. God Bless , Sue

Oh my goodness , Don, Nothing gets past you...Thank you. I want to thank everyone for their kind words , but it is I who wants to thank all of you. You helped keep me focused and sane while Mike and I were fighting his battle. Mike is at peace now, but I am still here with a new battle to fight. The best thing you can do for your son is to include him in your appointments and keep him informed of each step. He might want to join us here , as well.
