It was two years on September 20th that Ada died. It is still tough living without her but I'm doing OK. I still check in on the board once in a while to keep up with things. It is still the positive and supportive place that Ada loved. I think Ada would have wanted me to post -

I know she would want you to post. Ada was very dear to me and very helpful in the beginning of this journey. I am glad you are doing well.

Jim,

I echo Becky's post- Ada was one of the first to welcome me also. It is because of her and others like her that I stuck around.

I can still close my eyes and see the picture of her, with the lei around her neck. Not only her words but that calm, happy picture gave me hope that it would be alright. Please know, she will always be remembered here Jim.

Thanks for posting and I am glad that you are doing okay.

Dear Jim,

It will probably never be easy without Ada. Mom and I admired her strength, compassion, and caring whenever we would read her post. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are very happy to see you post.

I still have all my emails from Ada. I remember her giving me so much advice as a caregiver from her patient perspective. I remember her last email to me that she was sick and very weak. I will never forget her smile from her picture.

I miss her too.

We want you to post, too, Jim. Ada was much loved around here, and we were all pretty fond of you, too. She is missed, as are so many others.

It's good to know that you are doing okay, Jim. And I just know Ada is with all of us on a certain level.

Best Wishes,

Fay A.

Jim,

Thank you for posting and reminding of of Ada's anniversary.... I will say a quiet prayer for her. Ada's smiling face is still etched in my mind as I am sure it is in your heart... May the days ahead bring your more peace and contentment.... God Bless.
