As you can tell she needs all the sympathy she can get from everyone. The surgery on her hand has really hampered her ability to have fun, as you can clearly see. Please keep on enjoying yourself in spite of what life may throw your way. Laughter really is the best medicine. And tell your parents that it's understandable for them to think that you are a beautiful, intelligent, wonderful child (they're supposed to feel that way about you!), but it's nice to have it all confirmed by impartial people.
