  3. Hebbie & I exchanged e-mails frequently over the last 4 years. She was such an encouragement to me. She was so strong, and had a wonderful heart. I want everyone here to know that Hebbies faith in God was very strong and I know with certainty that she is in heaven now. Please Pray for Brad and Tyler. God Bless.

  10. I saw this segment as well....whats so promising about this is that it is a radically new approach to attacking cancer that has the hope of developing into a complete cure for this disease. IMO that's what its going to take to WIN. We cant keep doing what we have been doing all these years (Chemo, Surgery, Radiation) and expect different results. This is a new novel approach that makes great sense.

  13. Wow! That is indeed great news!! Both my brother and my Mom had benign growths removed via thoracotomy. They are both just fine today decades after the procedure. Seems these things have to come out malignant or not, because they grow and can cause issues. Joe B

    Ciao !

Hi All, Gina & I just returned form our 2 week tour of Italy. All I can say is WOW!!. I took 655 pictures and I am going to try and post them to a website tomorrow after I reduced their resolution for easier storage on a public website. We had the time of our lifes....saw Rome, Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Tuscany country side, Sam Gianona, Sienna, Venice, the Island of Burano, Assisi, Verona, Orvieto...etc. Bellissimo! Unbelievable Beauty, history and artistry. Wow! Well we each threw our coin in the Trevi fountain in Rome so that means we will be back. (2 means you will find your true love, and three coins in the fountain actually means divorce (that's what we were told. I'll post the location of the photo's after I figure that out. arrivederci. Stable

Hi Everyone, saw the oncologist today. The Report is good. Stable disease with increased cavitation in several nodules. For the last 6 weeks I went back up to 150mg of the tarceva. When I first started taking tarceva we saw cavitation in the nodules, but I later decreased the dose due to fatigue issues to 100mg. By re-upping the dose the cavitation re-appeared and it looks like the tarceva is killing many of the nodules from the inside out. This type of cavitation (dead in the center) is a good thing because they are small nodules (5mm-10mm. The same thing can happen with very large tumors when the tumor is growing too fast and the blood supply can't keep up. Thankfully that is not the case here. Praising God for the good report. I am staying on the tarceva 150mg and we'll rescan in 3 months. BTW my oncologist (Dr Kalmekarian at the UofM) prescibed adderrall to help me with the fatigue and that has worked wonders. God Bless.
