I pray they can mean there bridges. I will continue to keep Gay and Dean in my thoughts and prayers. My Aunt Freda, after her death, had left behind something she'd obviously photocopied...and now I safeguard it in a file in my closet. It says: Happiness is not getting what you want. Happiness is being content with what you have. If there was emotional distance between Dean and his daughter and she is coming to visit...maybe that too, will add to his contentment.
