Let's have a multi-front attack on this thing!

The Hawaiian word for "die" is "make" which is pronounced in two syllables -- MAH-KAY.

Couldn't find a Hawaiian equivalent for tumor or cancer in my paperback dictionary, but the very common word "pu'u" -- which is pronounced POOH-OOH -- should work. Pu'u can refer to just about any kind of protuberance, small or large. Lots of geographical features (hills or mounds) are called "Pu'u [something]" as in Mount St. Helens or Mount Rushmore on a smaller scale. For the body, "pu'u" can refer to a pimple, wart, mole, mass, clot, etc.

So here we go, all together for Don M:

Make pu'u make!

MAH-KAY POOH-OOH MAH-KAY!

MAH-KAY POOH-OOH MAH-KAY!

MAH-KAY POOH-OOH MAH-KAY!

Doesn't that have a nice ring to it? Aloha,

Ned
