Flyman35 Posted December 8, 2008 Share Posted December 8, 2008 Tom's CT scan is all clear!!! It is only a case of pneumonia and he is responding very well to treatment. There is no new cancer and the original tumor continues to shrink and the liver met is no where to be found. It has been 5 months since the last chemo and the end of radiation with no further treatment and the tumor is still shrinnking. I am just thrilled with the response. On another note he will most likely have a forced retirement as he will come home with oxygen and if we can't get his sugars under control he will go on full insulin versus a pill. He was at 385 this morning. We will definitely be changing the diet plan. They say he will most likely come home tomorrow. Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes as they sure did work.
