  1. I 2nd what Diane said Janet. It was a few years after my treatment when all of a sudden my upper left arm started hurting. It felt as if Mike Tyson had punched me in the arm with eveything he had. The slightest movement hurt like heck. I thought for sure that my cancer had returned or spread. It still returns every so often but at least now I dont panic and automatically think the worst. I hope you all have a nice Friday.
  2. Sorry Im late on this Carol but I just seen the post. THAT IS FANTASTIC NEWS! You have been such a inspiration to me since I first started coming here.

    Still Stable

    Thats wonderful news Diane!
  4. Janet, I like the name hopscotch you picked for the pony. Sounds so appropiate. Im still trying to figure out what to do with 13 homing pigeons. When we moved I brought them with was because the new owner of our home didnt want them. I now have them in a much smaller cage but am looking for a bigger loft for them. Even tho we are in a differant town I cant release them or they will go back to our previous home. I hate to get rid of them because they are one of the few things that really bring me joy and a feeling of peace. I know alot people think of pigeons as the same level as rats but I find homing pigeons amazing birds. Eric, I wish you the best with your presentation. I know you will do a fine job.It seems so strange with out seeing Judy inKW post. She joined shortly after I did and altho I havent been here alot the last year or so it seems funny not to see her name pop up. LCSC to me has always meant Katie, Randy and Judy in KW.They were and are the support fountation to me. Hopefully Judy will be popping back in when she is feeling better.
  5. Thanks for sharing the good news Fred and the hope and inspiration.
  6. Barbara, I dont have any information or advice for you but will say a prayer for you, your mother and family.
  7. Hi everyone, kind of chilly here in Nebraska the last few days. Janet dont drive that VW down to close to the shoreline. They are nice little cars but I dont think they float. Judy, I would have to disagree about the best ice cream bar. My favorite is Blue Bunny Homemade vanilla with choclate covering. Hope you all have had a nice day. It was great to see Judy KW update. Goodnight everyone. (click)
  8. Beatlemike would like to introduce and welcome Beetlejanet! Im tickeled your getting your long over due VW.
  9. Hi Denise, nice to see you back but wish it was under differant circumstances. Hopefully Toms next treatment will be even more successful than his first. Prayers are with you.
  10. Hi Michelle and welcome. You posted on a old post and it wont be seen by many readers. Couls you repost in the introduce yourself forum and tell a little of your story and Im sure you will get more responses.
  11. Hi Julie and welcome. I hope you find all the support and answers that you are looking for. Hopefully there will be someone here who can help answer any questions you may have. My prayers are with you for successful treatment.
  12. Hi Dani and welcome, Im glad they are able to do the surgery. Hopefully everything will go well for you. I had a softball size tumor on my right lung and had the entire lung removed in 2005. Praying the best for you.
  13. Hi everyone, kind of windy here in Nebraska today but compared to a month ago I wont complain. I mowed for the first time today. I always put off the first mowing as long as I can because I know it will be a weekly ordeal once it starts. We are adjusting to our smaller home. I would never have quessed that a smaller home needs cleaned up more than a larger one. I quess when you leave a few things lay that you notice it alot more. Anyway it is nice to be in a house that is paid for and we dont have to worry about ending up homeless or living with family. I just ned to remember to set money aside for taxes and insurance.I hope you are all staying well and for those of you doing treatment my prayers are with you. Goodnight everyone! (click).
  14. Judy and Judy, I am sorry you both seem to be going thru some tough times. I wish I could blow some magic dust in the air and make your problems get better along with everyone else here who is dealing with this cancer crap. I hope you will both settle for a cyber hug and best wishs. Heres wishing all you Irish men and ladies a Happy St. Patricks Day.My last name is Leahy so everyone thinks Im 100% Irish but I have a lot of German in me also.(PS) I hate corned beef and saurkraut both so I guess Im a lousy German and Irish both. Goodnight all! (click)
  15. Oops, I about forgot to shut the light out. Goodnight everyone! (click)
  16. Hi everyone, coming in the room tonight I was met by a sleazy looking fella on his way out. He had a big black hat on and a eye patch and a skinny a little mustash. I think he was one of them spammers because I see the room has more in it. Judy and Judy, I hope and pray the very best for both of you on your latest treatments. Janet, I hope you get that VW, I have always liked them also. I think the newer ones are even better looking than the old ones however I dont think they are a cheap car anymore. Were any of you Monkee fans back in the day? I feel bad about Davy Jones death. Altho the Monkees were never cool like the Stones or Beatles, they represented fun and foolishness and good times and their music was always good. Just another part of my youth checking out is what makes it sad I quess. I hope you all have a nice weekend. Im ready for summer.
  17. Randy,I just saw this post and wanted to wish you the best. I am so sorry you lost your Deb and Im sure you still miss her like crazy but thank you so much for all you have done and continue to do here at LCSC. You have been a blessing to so many.

  20. After my mom passed away my sister moved in and kept my moms phone# along with moms answering machine. Sometimes I would call just to hear moms voice but as so many have done my sister dropped the landmine and went cellular. Sad to say but I have forgotten what my moms voice sounded like. So I can relate to how your feeling. How I would love to hear her voice again.
  21. Looks like it has been a pretty active day here today. Judy in Mi. I hope you get to feeling better fast. Well I quess I will dump what is left of the coffee and get it ready for tommorrow. Goodnight everyone. (click)
