Dina, I am so sorry to hear your ordeal. Please remember if you don't feel comfortable with your dads doctors, go get another opinion. Many here have!! I believe strongly that you have to have faith in your Dr. I remember those early days when my mom was first diagnosed and it was a whirlwind! Try to be strong but remember it is OK to have those moments where we just have to let it out! Please keep us posted. Prayers to you and your family, Dana

Though I know you have already been told, I am going to say it again, never feel guilty for needing time. When my mom was in the middle of treatment I made sure my dad had "time off" I figured, even though I went to every appointment and was at their home everyday, I got to go home at night. It was also good for my mom, to have some time away. That is no reflection on commitment or love, it is necessary. You recharge those batteries!!! Prayers to you, Dana

Nova, My mom just finished her PCI. (It is a lower dosage than whole brain.) The PCI wasn't bad. Mom had a few minor side effects. A little headache, sunburned head, and tired. I hope Harry flies through his PCI. He is due for a break!!! I pray for you and your whole family everyday. Dana

Linzy, I am so sorry that you had such a horrible experience with your first Dr. I would run to get another opinion. Just read the stories on this site and know there is hope! FInd a Dr who will fight as hard as you will! I agree this would be great to ask Dr. West!! I am praying for you and your family. Try and find faith. You can fight this! OK call this a coincidence but.............my mom had a headache the day after she started her PCI. We asked her Dr and he said it wasn't from the treatment, to early for that. We thought maybe nerves or allergies. As her treatment progressed the headache was gone. SHe has her last treatment on Monday. Hope the headache subsides quickly! Prayers for success, Dana
