Regarding Alimta, Mike ended up with pneumonitis after being on Alimta. His sob got progressively worse. He was put on high doses of steroids and had to be put on oxygen from there on out. Every person reacts differently to chemo , but I would like to stress that it appears after reading many posts about Alimta , on this site, a word of caution should be expressed. If you start to feel short of breath, have it checked out. Wish someone had told us that. Sue

(((Donna))), I understand, I really do . I have my extreme ups and downs. A part of every day I cry. The holiday season makes those feeling worse. Today , as I was driving, Christmas music was playing and I just started crying and the pain of missing Mike was so so intense. It was 9 months yesterday that he passed away, how could that be? Grief affects all of us differently and it seems to come in waves with me. I hope you get the help you need. God Bless. Love and Prayers, Sue

(((Kim))), It is so hard. I haven't scattered Mike's ashes yet , as he wished, and it looks like it may have to be next year. He wanted to have them scattered in the Mountains and the later I wait , the temps will be so cold and the chances of snow are great. I would think that by burying your mom's ashes that you have taken another step toward the healing process. God be with you. Love, Sue
