kitkathi Posted February 9, 2005 Share Posted February 9, 2005 My brother said that pops was sitting up in his hospital room feeling pretty down from his recent heart issues. During the ordeal yesterday they took him in and did a CT on him. His oncologist came in to visit him this afternoon (she is so wonderful) and said, "Bill, glad they fixed your heart up....and by the way.....I looked at your CT they took and your cancer is gone!!!!!!" My brother said that pops was just so happy he (my brother) thought he was going to have another heart attack. He feels so blessed to be able to be NED twice. We are glad that they caught his recurrence quickly before it spread. Obviously they will really watch him carefully. Just as one door closes another door opens.........
