MilliBr1 Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 While they aren't saying positively just yet it looks like mom has 2 new tumors in her left lung and another on her esophagus. The oncologist said some pnuemonia's can cause a bad PET scan so they will continue treating her for that to see if she improves. The plumonary doctor feels they are tumors. Of course the only way to know for sure would be to do a biopsy, but mom is way to weak for that, and even if we were positive she is way to sick for anymore treatments. Today was a good day for her she talked just a bit more and didn't seem so confused. She sleeps almost all day and doesn't not seem to be in any pain. We all just feel so sad. When she was first diagnosed they said they could probably give her a few good years, but that has not been the case. The treatements made her so tired and sick that we never got to spend the time doing some of the things we wanted with her, and now she hardly talks Of course I'm praying for a miracle or at the very least she comes back mentally to us so we can talk and laugh together.
