cindi o'h Posted February 21, 2006 Share Posted February 21, 2006 I say "God bless you" Mom taught us to say and insisted with correction, "God, bless me" whenever we sneezed as children. She was Irish/Catholic. It has stayed with me as an adult. Instead of saying excuse me, it is a habit to say, God bless me. Anyone else? Or was this just my Mom who did this? Frank...it's when THEY sneeze...are you a verbal sneezer, too? I have an 8th grader who loves to say, "chicken" when he sneezes. How endearing!
