ernrol
What a great week this has been. I got a good report on my PET scan, I turned 70 on the 27th and the 30th was my last day of work. I guess I am officially retired even tough I have never received an official letter. They did have a retirement dinner. That’s how I know I am retired. What do you expect form a 20 billion dollar company. Now maybe I won’t get behind answering email. I will have lots of time for golfing and fishing, I think. I have heard from my better half something about garden, house chores and cooking dinner again. Maybe I won’t have so much time after all. I will start working on recipes that include cancer fighting ingreitents. I promiss they will start to appear. Life is good and the Lord is great! Stay positive, Ernie

recce101
But no gold watch?? Actually, I don't think "retired" and "Ernie" can be used in the same sentence. You'll always be involved in something, stirring the pot so to speak... Congratulations nevertheless!! Aloha, Ned

teriw
That IS great news Ernie -- all of it! Somehow you don't strike me as the kind of person who allows yourself to have too much time on your hands!
