Barb, if you are on any kind of steroids it would make your heart rate higher. Mike's was affected by his nebulizing treatments (xopenex), inhalers (flovent) and prednisone . Decadron given at time of chemo will also do that. Anything with steroids will make your heart beat faster, I believe. Sue
