There is a lot of information and lots of support at this site. Take time to read through the different forums to get an idea of what is discussed where.   7. Barb, if you are on any kind of steroids it would make your heart rate higher. Mike's was affected by his nebulizing treatments (xopenex), inhalers (flovent) and prednisone . Decadron given at time of chemo will also do that. Anything with steroids will make your heart beat faster, I believe. Sue
