Kasey
Cindi, Sending hopes and wishes your way that all checks out A-OK on Tuesday. Can't wait to hear what's up with the PET AND the bloodwork. XOXOXO, Kasey
J.C.
Cindi, Will be praying a storm on March 14th for good results. The patient is usually nervous, now you have a nervous oncologist that you like, better than an oncologist that is over confident in his knowledge and don't care for the patient. I take that for a good omen. We will be expecting news from you. Love Jackie

shelliemacs
maybe its just like anemia or something like that. I know I should not wish for that, but in the scheme of things, wouldn't you love to hear that over something else.
cindi o'h
The nurse said I need a banana a day to increase potassium. That is easy enough. The doctor is going on vacation next week, so I have to wait to see him for 2 or 3 weeks. They will give me a verbal though over the phone. So that is good. Hanging in there and enjoying the sound of the wind and blowing snow and wondering how in the hell our forefathers (and mothers!) survived all of this without elec., running water, gas, shelter, toilet, supermarkets, etc....! We have a good pre-spring winter blast here. Cindi o'h
Don M
Hi Cindi; so I guess the potassium levels in your blood were low? and you will get the results of your next ct scan on the phone? Enjoy your window time. Don M
shineladysue
Bananas are good... Maybe you could throw some rice krispies under 'em... but have to wonder why you were low.. diuretics maybe? Mike's doc always supplemented diuretics with potassium. As for the results.. let us know the phone thing ... So sorry you have to wait for the doc. Waiting will make ya nuts.. Take care of yourself and know you are loved. Love, Sue
blaze100
Hi Cindi, Yes, I think choco-covered bananas are just the ticket. My dad still lives in Eau Claire area, and he said they had 200 car accidents in 1 hour today. I'm happy the blood work was nothing serious.
