Denise, I join you in saying Goodbye to 2006. It was not a good year for me and I need to learn too deal with some "family issues" which really surfaced surrounding my father's passing. (Oh, how I miss my Dad!). I've tried to deal with them with counselling and so far, not successsfully. But I will deal with them or at least reach acceptance and move on. Life is just too short! I have been looking forward to 2007 as a new beginning. I'm so sorry that on top of everything else that you have to deal with marital issues. Don't give up on the counselling though. If you are unhappy with your counsellor, try a new one. They do have very different approaches. I hope your husband wants to work on the relationship too. Wishing you only the very best for 2007 - gail p-m

So sorry!!! I DO understand. I lost my Border Collie to cancer on Sept. 9th. She had gone through chemo and radiation and had crossed the country with me to help my Dad out during his final days. It's not easy to lose our furbabies. They are family members -- and should be. gail p-m

Congrats on a great physical - and good luck on losing those extra pounds. They are sometimes hard to shed but I'm giving "serious consideration" to them right now. gail p-m

My fourth pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and of course, i had to have the DNC. Although I had had 3 children already, it was still very tough and I went into a bit of a depression. Got pregnant a few months later and 4th child is 20 years old now. ((I've heard it said that a DNC really cleans you out and for some reason, achieving a pregnancy is a bit easier after one -- don't know if this is a wives' tale or not but it worked for me since it usually took me a year plus to get pregnant. I'm so sorry for you but hang in there. gail p-m
