Hi Colleen,I experiance the same thing very often.This time of year it is easy to get dry sinus.I went to walmart and bought one of those nasal flushs.They really clean out your sinuss good and help me prevent bronchitis.Its called NeilMed Sinus Rinse.I thought the same thing as you the first few times I blew dry blood out.Also a humidfier would probably help also.Good luck.

Hi Sweetgirl and welcome.It sounds to me like her cancer was caught very early and she has a good chance of beating it.You and your mother have a lot to be hopeful for. I dont know if the fear of recurrance ever goes away completely but it does get a lot better with time.I hope you both keep coming here for help and support. There are many here that are willing to answer your questions and help you along.My prayers are with you both. Mike

Yesterday in the news they were saying that ct scans might be overly used and giving off radiation which might cause cancer itself.My onco has me get ct scan every 6 months with xray at every 3 month in between.Myself i would have the scan as is and know if there is a new or recurrant cancer. Hopefully the scan is a small risk. What are your opinions on this and how often do you recieve scans and xrays?Onco also told me last visit if I get another clean checkup in Dec. we will go to 1 scan per year but I think I would like to keep it at every 6 months.
