pammie Posted February 11, 2005 Share Posted February 11, 2005 Can't help but be sad for those who have been receiving bad news but I have to share my good news. Saw the doc today and the tumor markers are the lowest ever. CEA is down to 6.5. i started Iressa one month ago and have done very well on it. The lungs look clear. Despite some pain in the plueral area I feel good. The good news is God working in my body and in our lives. So thankful for His graciousness. The doc said he was not expecting the drop in the one tumor marker so was pleasantly surpised. Oh yeah, and I got my hair cut - short. If money weren't so tight, we'd be partying...instead, I'll suffice with a glass of wine and a soak in the tub....
