Had a CT scan of my lungs today which was 3 months early for my normal nodule checkup. The scan today was due to having pneumonia 3 months ago and my PCP wanted to check the pneumonia as well as my nodules. Well, there is no pneumonia and my nodules are still stable. :D It has been 1 year and 9 months that the little buggers have remained stable. The report stated "these are likely benign nodules" -- just love that word benign!

More good news - for all you folks who are trying to quit smoking. Tomorrow is my 3 year anniversary since I quit. I smoked for 46 years and quit for my heart - not thinking of cancer at the time. I used the nicotine patch. It wasn't easy, but well worth the effort. Good luck to all of you who are trying to quit.

I'm so happy for you, these are certainly words worth hearing........benign, what a weird and wonderful word.

Yea Fred! Good reports are such a relief!

And, about the smoking thing, I feel the same way.
