Geri Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Hi, I am Geri’s daughter Karen writing an update from her hospital room. Surgery went well. The surgeon was very pleased (and he seemed a lot nicer then his reputation). He took out 2 liters of fluid. Geri says to tell you she is having a great time with her med button. She is already breathing better now. She is groggy and uncomfortable but in a private room so my dad can stay overnight. She is expected to be released early next week. She says ‘hi’ to everyone. Please let her know that I'm thinking of her and I can't wait until all this is FINALLY behind her. What amazes me about you mom is during all she has gone through (and she had so much to endure) she neve lost that wonderful sense of humor. Get well Geri, rest and heal. Maryanne Quote
