Debi

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to share that tomorrow is kind of an anniversary...it will mark 6 months since my surgery.

Hard to believe that it is 6 months!! Thank you all for the support you have given me and the friends that I have made here.

Oh, and also, tonight is 6 months from my last cigarette.... 6 months ago to the hour, I was sitting in the smoking lounge of the cancer treatment center chain smoking.

Gosh, lots of milestones this week!!:lol:

Well as they say, you've come a long way baby. Good for you!

How about you cough up your address and I send you donuts to celebrate? :P Good donuts, real donuts, not those things passing for donuts in okie land. Come one Debi, you can trust me

If I Could Catch a Rainbow:

If I could catch a rainbow, I would do it just for you, And share with you its beauty, On the days you’re feeling blue. If I could build a mountain, You call your very own, A place to find serenity, A place to be alone. If I could take your troubles, I would toss them in the sea, But all these things I’m finding, Are impossible for me. I cannot build a mountain, Or catch a rainbow fair, But let me be what I know best A friend that’s always there. Author Unknown

Debi,

Way to go... Congrats on quitting smoking. You are awesome and thanks for all your support and caring. It takes a lot of will power to quit smoking especially when for some reason (addiction) we enjoy smoking... I quit in Jan 03 after smoking for over 30 years.

Prayers for you and your family... God Bless

Warm and gentle hugs 8)8)8)8)

Congratulations on your surgery and your quit smoking anniversary! In a few days, on the 20th, it will be my 6 month anniversary since surgery. I quit smoking on May 21, almost 7 months ago, the night I got the phone call from my doc with the bad news about my CT scan. We've made it this far and we're feeling good!!!!!!! Cause to celebrate, don't you think?

So glad you gave up those nasty things too. I quit 19 yrs ago or something like that. I sure did love those terrible things.

It won't be long and you will be posting 1 yr, 2 yr, 10 yr. Not sure I will be around for the 10th yrs, age is a factor for me...

Go out tonight and work on #3. lolololol
