cindi o'h Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 Okay... I just came back from the pulmonologist's visit. I just love her!! The chest xray showed improvement in the iflammation which she said was a rapid and successful response that she doesn't see that often. So, all of the steroids that I have been taking are paying off. The PFT's came back as showing dramatic improvement also. My lung function has increased significantly. I will stay on the prednisone at this dose for awhile longer and begin a gradual taper. I will start the pulmonary rehabilitation that is a 6 week program at 2X a week. She said that I will learn a lot and increase my strength and confidence. I am all for that. This is all pointing to me getting back on my feet again. All good news. Just good.
