Patkid Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Apple Crisp (my mother's recipe) w/ a scoop (or 2)of French Vanilla ice cream. A sure sign of fall. We always had this on my birthday, which happens to "fall'' on the first day of 'fall'. Happy memories. P Quote
Leslie221 Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I had to really think about this. It's hard to think of just one. But my lifelong, consistent favorite desert is rich chocolate devil's food cake with chocolate icing and those little chocolate spinkles on top. My mom used to get those at a bakery when I was growing up and I was hooked! Quote
Kaffie Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Hot from the oven apple pie, if it's home made. Kathy Quote

Maryanne Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Hey Brat, I hope you put your moms recipe into NCSC book. Sounds really good... yummm My favorite is carmel cheescake or chocolate chip cheese cake I am not a vanilla lover, but I love vanilla ice cream with carmel or butterscotch topping. As you can see I like carmel, especially choclate covered ones. Milk chocolate not the dark. Maryanne Quote

Ry Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 My favorite dessert is cheesecake with strawberries, but it has to be the real New York style nice and thick, not that other stuff that passes for cheesecake. Lucky for me my son is a huge cheesecake fan also so he orders it and shares. Quote
