Don Wood
Well, guys and gals, after being so optimistic today at the removal of the breathing tube, just within the last hour, her breathing has become labored. She is just so very tired. Therefore, there is a good chance they will have to reintubate. My heart is heavy once again. Don

Mendy
Don, I know it is hard to see your wife having a hard time. She sounds like such a strong woman. I will pray that she continues to get stronger and be able to breath on her own. I have seen my own grandmother pull through when all the doctors had thought her time was near and she had to be resucitated. My grandmother has been on a ventilator a couple of times and each time her lungs and body got stronger with all the extra oxygen that is normally deprived due to fluid and emphysema. People can overcome many difficulties. Mendy
