I hate this &*%$ and what its doing to you right now. I wish they could get your pain under control already. It sounds like you may need a combination of patches as JC mentioned. I hope they hop on it before things get intolerable again.

Is the Iressa is working when the pain keeps getting worse?

Please call the doctor and report the worsening symptoms right away. It doesn't mean the Iressa isn't working but let the doctors check it out. -

Iam so sorry Nina. I can understand your feelings. How awful for someone to just help themselves to belongings of others. I hope you can feel safe again soon.

I would not listen to a NURSE about changing the dosing of Iressa, but I would instead talk to the doctor. I have some of the Iressa side affects at times but Immodium helps. There are prescriptions which will help if Immodium doesn't. In these difficult cirucmstances, please consider second opinions. Good luck.

Elaine, At least call your oncologist and report the symptoms. I do believe that celebrex can cause edema but I don't know about the others. Please don't ignore the symptoms. Lisa
