Great CT Scan

I went for chemo today and got the results of the CT Scan from yesterday. My oncologist took me into the computer room and brought it up to compare with the previous scan. Most of the tumors have shrunk over 50% Yippee. I did, however get some bad news, my white count was too low for chemo today, so that was put off until next week. Oh well, that's what we have to live with when we have lung cancer. Some more good news, the oncologist is excited that I am able to play golf. Sometimes I get the impression I am supposed to be really sick with this stuff. Anyone believe that?

Dave-

Heres to you ( I am raising my glass now...CLINK) That is wonderful news! You deserve the break so maybe thats why God made your whites a little low this time. Don't worry, they'll keep shrinking!! That is absolutely wonderul, celebrate, go play 18 and stop at the 19th for a celebration of course with apple juice or something!! You deserve the good news my friend. :D

So, Dave, How come you're not given Neupogen to get those white counts up? Be careful while they are down; you'll have no resistance!!! Now, listen to me, ya hear????? Remember you didn't listen about dehydration!!!!! If any one of your golf buddies so much as sneezes, GET AWAY!!!!

Take an aspirin and call me in the morning, Dr. JudyB

Dave,

Do you remember SHRINKY DINKS (be careful with the spelling on that last one! 8) ). I'm counting on those cancer cells continuing to shrink. Take care of yourself and get those counts back up. Praying for you, good buddy.

Next week I go for my 1 year and 9 month after surgery CT-scan. So far I've been fortunate. I sure hope to post more good news on this site next week!

God Bless you Dave!
