Connie B Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 I just got off the phone with Nancy's son. This is good news, bad news! They did not removed the rest of her lung, because they found it had spread to a lymph node. They feel they can treat this with chemo and radiation. They didn't see any reason for putting her through a full pneumonectomy. Her recovery won't be to bad, being they didn't really do anything so she should be home in a few days. Her family will be able to see her within the next hour he said. If anything changes Shawn will call me and let me know. Please continue to keep our Nancy in your prayers, and I know I will.
